At the Riu Palace Aruba, members often have timeshare units to resell. The Riu does not sell timeshare however, they maintain the original 35 units of the Royal Palm Club. When you buy a timeshare unit from an owner, the process is a simple transfer.
- Buyer to contact Riu by phone at 011-297-526-3900 to verify the timeshare sale is legitimate from the owner.
- Seller determines who will pay maintenance for 2016 $690 or $915 and the transfer fee to the Riu $275. These fees are in addition to the sale price of the timeshare unit. These fees are payable by Credit Card Authorization faxed to the Riu.
- Owner completes the sale agreement and sends to buyer. Buyer and owner both sign agreement.
- Buyer pays owner by certified check-sellers do not accept any other payment method-no brokers, no Pay Pal.
- Upon receipt of payment, owner will complete the transfer form and send to buyer and Riu.
- The Riu requires a copy of passports for each buyer
