The Newly Renovated, All Inclusive Hotel Riu Palace Aruba, has a timeshare community of 35 units. Timeshare rentals offer the most affordable way to vacation in Aruba. The Timeshare units at the Riu Palace Aruba are often available for rent through members. Occupancy is Friday to Friday. While the Riu Palace Aruba does not rent or sell timeshare unit, they maintain the 35 original units. Please contact a member if you are interested in renting their available week.
A one bedroom sleeps 4 with a private bedroom and queen sleeper sofa in the living room. A two bedroom sleeps 6 with two private bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. All timeshare units have a kitchen and dining/eat in area. 5th floor one bedroom units have two baths. 1st and 3rd one bedroom units have 1 bath. All two bedroom units have two bath with the exception of 546/548 which has 3 baths.
Rentals:
Renter may contact the Riu in Aruba by phone at 011-297-526-3900 and ask for Timeshare to verify the rental is legitimate
Owner prepares a Rental Agreement
Renter and Owner Sign Rental Agreement
Renter pays for rental in full by Certified Bank Check
Upon receipt of payment, owner completes a Member Guest Form and sends a copy to the Riu and to the renter.

TRADES & ACCELERATIONS IMPORTANT UPDATE
Karina has begun confirming Trades & Accelerations for the beginning weeks in 2017. If you received a confirmation, please remember the following:
You must pay within 10 days or the Trade or Acceleration will be cancelled.
You must pay Maintenance for the Week you are Trading or Accelerating or the request cannot be processed.
Trades & Accelerations may only be paid by Credit Card.
My suggestion-Pay your Maintenance and Trade or Acceleration on the same Credit Card Form. You will only pay the $25 one time. Just be specific when listing what you are paying for. This is the quickest way to complete your Trade or Acceleration.
During Maintenance season, maintenance must be paid in full before a Trade or Acceleration is finalized.
Maintenance Letter
Please find below the actual Maintenance Letter for 2017. The Invoices will be mailed after September 15th. This is for information only. Your copy will be enclosed with your Invoice. Thanks to so many members who are already paying maintenance. This is such a big help to Karina and accounting. I will be in Aruba for Week 37 and hope to see some of you there.

Enclosed you will find your annual Membership Invoice for 2017. All checks and wires will be payable to A.H.E. Resorts & Holding. Please pay close attention to this information as it has changed from 2016. Checks may only be made payable to A.H.E. Resorts & Holding.
Checks will no longer be accepted in person at the Riu. If you are paying by check it must be mailed to Miami. Credit Card payments will still be accepted at the Riu.
- Make Check Payable to H.E. Resorts & Holding. Do not make checks payable to any other payee.
- On the memo line of your check please write in the Invoice Number or the Number following the C:
- If the name on your check is not the name on your contract, you must write in the name on contract on Memo line.
- Mail Check in the enclosed envelope. Do not send payment with a signature requested.
- Do not enclose any paperwork in the envelope with your check. Miami will not forward paperwork to Aruba.
- Do not mail your payment to Aruba.
- Payments may not be made by check in person at the Riu. Credit Cards only will be accepted.
On your Maintenance Invoice you will find your actual check in date for 2017. The month and day are reversed. If more than one week is on a contract, only the first day of check in will be listed under date.
The annual dues are payable in advance, each year on or before November 30th for the following year. Invoices are sent out in September and must be received and posted before November 30, 2016. Payment processing time is approximately 2 weeks. Please mail your payment no later than November 15 to allow your payment to be posted by the due date. If the annual dues are not paid on time, the Royal Palm Club will proceed with foreclosure of the unit in default. On November 30th any member with unpaid annual dues will be sent a letter notifying them of foreclosure. The Royal Palm Club will automatically foreclose on any unit with outstanding maintenance fees.
Please make your payment using one of the three options listed below. No other method is accepted.
- Maintenance Fee for a one bedroom unit is $690
- Maintenance Fee for a two bedroom unit is $915

Listen Up….Maintenance Invoices
Approximately 1/2 of the Maintenance Invoices will be mailed out tomorrow. The accounting system failed to print all Invoices. Most of the affected wees are 35-52 however random weeks are included in the print error. Hopefully the problem will be corrected this coming week. You may receive an Invoice for one of your weeks and not the others. Example-if you own 52 & 1 you may receive Week 1 and not Week 52. This is an inconvenience and the Riu is working hard to correct. The good news is all envelopes should be addressed to the right address.
Listen Up Again…New Beach Procedures
New Beach Procedures-Riu Palace Aruba
As you arrive for your timeshare week you will quickly find the beach more organized and supervised. The entire beach/pool staff is new. The Beach Supervisor came from Antillas with a lot of experience. He is doing an amazing job. The beach is the most organized I have seen. The staff is also the best I have seen-here to do their job!
The Beach staff arrives at 5am. They begin opening the beach at 6am. Palapas may not be reserved/saved by putting something under them. You must have chairs with towels set up. Once your chairs are set up you may leave. The beach attendants are waiting as you walk on to the beach to get your chairs and take you to a Palapa. The chairs are locked so the attendants get them for you-no more chair frenzy in the mornings.
The beach attendants will not save Palapas or do anything they are not allowed to do. If they do, they loose their job. The beach supervisor Ireno Lesandrina was put on the beach to manage properly and he is doing an amazing job. Let’s all do our part to make the new procedures successful.
Meet Ireno Lesandrina. He is the new Beach/Pool Supervisor at the Riu Palace Aruba. He comes from Antillas with 3 years of Riu experience. His expertise shows in the amazing way he has improved the beach and pool process.
Ireno is from Aruba. He has an 8 year old daughter. He is devoted to his position and you will find him a perfect addition to the Riu Palace staff.
